Experiences

I am who I am. My life experiences has shaped me to be who I am today: the child at heart, Disney-lover, writer, part-time comedian, ect. My list goes on and on.
I love my family and friends and they have shaped my love for people throughout the years. My cousins and my sister are my best friends and I would die for them. They bring me such joy and when we always have such fun adventures when we are together. The friends I have had throughout school and life have shaped my hobbies and interests and have led me to pursue what I want to do in life - which is film.
I grew up with Disney, I was a Disney kid. When I reconnected with my routes in 2014, I never stopped. I love Disney because of multiple people and because of Disney I gained many friends and hobbies and am part of a bigger community.
My faith in God has led me to love others the way Jesus would. Because of my faith, I declare myself a left independent. I learned who I am and what I believe, and that is good.
I am still working on "my brand" and it will be ever-changing through my life because of all the life experiences and people I will encounter in my future!

The Office

I wrote this awhile back, but here is my script for an opening sequence for the popular show The Office. Opening sequence *Michael walks in with everyone already in the office* *He yawns excessively before walking into his office* *Camera zooms in on Jim rolling his eyes to Pam* *Camera shows Pam reacting by laughing to loud* *Camera shows Angela rolling her eyes in reaction* *Jim gets up and walks into Michael’s office* Dwight- Where are you going Jim? Jim- Talk to Michael about the girl we're interviewing today. Dwight- Why wasn't this ran through me. I am the assistant to the regional manager. *Jim let's out a sigh* Dwight- Let me through I need to talk too Michael! *Delights shoves Jim who isn't even in the way of Michael's office* *Jim follows him in* Dwight- Michael! Michael- What Dwight. I'm busy with my work. *Michael pushes Legos into his desk* Dwight- Why didn't you come to me about interviewing this new person? Michael- Is that today? Dwight- We don't need anymore people in here we are already to big in here, if you know what I mean with certain salespeople. *Camera zooms in on Phyllis and Stanley reacting to Dwight's comment* Phyllis- Dwight, we can still hear you out here! Dwight- Shut up this doesn't concern you! Phyllis- It still hurts *Camera moves back into Michael's office* Michael- Listen we need a new HR person because… *michael raises his voice* TOBY IS THE WORST *Camera shows Toby and zooms in on his hurt face* Jim- Listen, Dwight, we can always use two HR’s in case one is sick or to help with all the paperwork. Michael- And also fire Toby because he sucks Jim- No Michael not to fire Toby Michael- Whatever it's always a choice we'll have Dwight- I do not approve and I am assistant to the regional manager Michael- No you are not Dwight you made that up Dwight- The new girl doesn't know that Jim- Just stay normal we don't want to scare her off *A young man who looks like Channing Tatum walks in* Meredith- Woof woof who is this Angela- Stop you scare Muffin *Angela reaches in her desk shelf and reaches it in and a meow is heard* Michael- You said he was a she, Jim Jim- Well Taylor generally a female name I didn't know. *Dwight walks out to Taylor* Dwight- Hello good sir, what brings you to Bob’s Refrigeration? Taylor- I think I'm in the wrong building where is Dunder Mifflin *Jim walks out with Michael behind* Jim- Don't listen to Dwight, this is Dunder Mifflin. You must be Taylor Dwight- Damn it Jim what happened to not needing anymore people *Taylor gives a side eye to Dwight* Jim- Let's head into the conference room *Jim leads Taylor into the conference room. Michael and Dwight follows* Jim- So what makes you think you'll be a good fit for our branch? Dwight- Yes why would you pick Scranton of all places? Why would you…? Taylor- I went to college for communications and I saw you had a position open and thought it would be a good way to start my career. Michael- So you don't plan on staying long term...hmmm Taylor- I plan on staying as long as I feel I'm needed *Meredith throws herself on the window in just her underwear* Meredith- Hey big boy Michael- Oh God, Meredith, get the **** out of here! *Jim gets up and closes the blinds* Jim- I am so sorry about that. Now where were we? Taylor- I am staying as long as I'm needed. Jim- Okay, what unique skills will you bring to our staff? Taylor- I feel like I bring a youthful presence to the office Dwight- You hear that Michael? He just called you old. Michael- No, Dwight, he clearly means Creed *camera turns to creed sharpening a pocketknife looking at Angela* Dwight- Do you plan on killing anyone in the future? *camera turns and zooms in on disappointed Jim* Taylor- I don't think so… Dwight- You hesitated Taylor- I don't know if this will work. Michael- It will as long as you just don't kill anyone. If you don't you're hired… *michael raises his voice* SO WE CAN FINALLY GET RID OF THAT WASTE OF LIFE TOBY *Jim buries his head into his hands* Taylor- Yea, I think I'm just going to leave… Dwight- Yes, the exit is just off the roof Jim- I can show you out *skips to them about to walk out of the office downstairs* Taylor- How do you work with those people Jim- I ask myself that everyday. *camera zooms in on Taylor shocked* Jim- Anyways, thanks for considering us, and if you ever want, there will be a place at Dunder Mifflin Taylor- I most likely won't be back, but thanks anyway *Taylor walks away and out the doors and into the parking lot* *Meredith is laying on her van completely naked* Meredith- I saw how you were looking at me in there Taylor- Oh God *Taylor runs to his car and pulls out* *Meredith runs in front of his car and holds out her hands* Meredith- You know you want this! *Taylors hits Meredith and keeps driving off* *opening song* THE OFFICE

AP TESTS

AP stands for a lot of different things to many different people. For me, I can view it as two things: my Disneyland Annual Pass, or Advanced Placement.
These past two weeks have been the dreaded advanced placement exams. In total, I've now taken six AP tests. I've past two and I'm waiting to hear from two in July. The classes and the tests can be mentally exhausting and there is a chance the high school class could be more rigorous than the actual college level class. However, I am getting major college credit for doing so and if I pass these two tests, I am already done with a semester of college!
I think AP is worth it. It can be a pain to complete, but in the end, it is always good to challenge yourself to do better and can be a good chance to get some college out of the way with only paying a fraction of the cost.
I took my last AP class of the year and of high school today, and I'm glad I challenged myself to do my best, even when the times seemed tough.

Favorite Spots

I love to travel and am fortunate enough to do it quite often. Here is a top five list of my favorite places around California!

5. Coming in at number 5 is Yosemite! I grew up going to Yosemite with my dad and my sister every summer and some winters. It is a beautiful place and is a great place to experience nature and is iconic California.

4. Number four is San Francisco. I love San Francisco and the vibes it brings whenever I get to visit. I also love the surrounding towns and sites.

3. San Jose! I make my way up to San Jose as much as possible and will go sometimes four times a year. My cousins live up there so they show me all the cool places to go see when I'm with them.

2. Disneyland. WHAAT?? Disneyland isn't your number one?? Yeah, I know right. I love Disneyland and the environment it brings everywhere. I am so happy to be a part of the community.

1. My number one is Bridgeport. I am in love with this little town. I don't get to go up there as much as I would like, but whenever I do, it is a blast. They have this little food place that has the most amazing shakes and grilled cheese and I can never get enough.

The Curse of Hanger

The Curse of Hanger

The hanger consumes me
It overtakes my mind
I am powerless to the problem
The food is what is hard to find

It always is the same
It starts with a grumble
The curse starts to form
It makes my mind rumble

My mind begins to wonder
Where is the food
I don’t care what it takes
I’ll fight anyone, dude.

Eggstravaganza!

Every springtime for the past couple years, Disney Parks hosts an event that people of all ages can enjoy together to celebrate Easter. This event is called Eggstravaganza! Eggstravaganza is basically an Easter egg hunt around the park - they have three locations: Disneyland Park, California Adventure, and Downtown Disney. You first buy a map at one of the locations and the map shows where each egg is around the park and you follow it around and put the sticker on the marked location on the mark when you find it. Once you finish the hunt, you go back to one of the locations and redeem them for a prize egg! You don't even have to do the egg hunt, once you pay you can just get the prize egg and you can buy them all if you want. It is a super fun hunt for everyone to enjoy! I hope I get to attend before it ends on April 16th.

It's Morphin Time!

The Power Rangers are back and better than ever in the new movie, Power Rangers. It has been over 20 years since the first episode of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers came to life and changed super heroes forever. Since then there has been 19 spin off series that are continuing their legacy today.
The new revamp of the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers translated the television show into a movie. It premiered this last Thursday and has already grossed over $40 million.
Going in I didn't know what to expect. The movie focused much more on character development than action in the minimum time it had, but it made you love all of the rangers the much more. There was a few action scene throughout the movie during training or the rangers discovering their powers, but the main focus was in the last act of the movie. I felt the first two acts were mainly to develop the story and the characters like most movies, while making the movie unique to be different from the show, while the last act brought back all the nostalgic feels of the original. There is a plan to make 5 other movies expanding over the next generation so get buckled for a fun adventure!
Overall, it was a fun new movie that kept me intrigued the entire time! I highly recommend it for all ages for families to enjoy together. (PS go pee before because it is a long movie!)

Disneyland Favorites

It is no joke that I go to Disneyland Resort quite often. Over the many times I've been to able to go, I've experienced many foods, attractions, and entertainment. Here are some of my favorite parts of the resort.

First off, food! I love almost everything at the parks.
Favorite snack: the famous churro which you can find anywhere in either park.
Favorite food: chicken fusilli at Pizza Port in tomorrowland.
Favorite drink: The dole whip float in front of the tiki room.

Attractions!
Favorite ride: Haunted Mansion at New Orleans Square.
Favorite show: Frozen Live! at the Hyperion.
Favorite parade: Paint the Night Parade (which is currently not running as of January 2017).

Park favorite!
Favorite park: Disneyland.
Favorite land: New Orleans Square.
Favorite transportation: Mark Twain Riverboat on the rivers of America (currently not running as of January 2016 but still open for meet and greets).

These are just some of my favorites throughout the park, but there is a lot more that I love. I wish I could share the magic of Disney with everyone!

Main Street Electrical Parade

Yes! Finally the return of the original Main Street Electrical Parade! From now until mid-June you can experience the original electrical parade as it has made its way back to its home park at Anaheim, California in Disneyland. This parade originally premiered June 17th, 1972. That is just about 44 years ago! It's amazing to see what could be done with a little imagination so long ago.
When it was first announced the parade will be returning to its first Main Street, people had mixed emotions. On one hand, it was going to be great to be able to see the parade's final run ever at its home park, but on the other, we were going to lose the Paint the Night parade. Paint the Night is the successor of Main Street Electrical Parade, almost like its more updated child. It is quite an upgrade and many fans were mad at the loss of this updated parade, given to Disneyland for its 60th birthday in 2015, for an outdated parade.
Comparing the two is like comparing an iPhone 3G to an iPhone 7. Sure it's a classic and started a revolution, but it's old and outdated and has been replaced but a better model. It's just that the music, floats, and the movies the floats are based off of are old and not as relevant as the newer floats and music in PtN.
I was lucky enough to see the public opening night of the parade for both of the parades. With PtN I was entertained all the way through with all the performers, floats, and the amazing soundtrack. With MSEP I was excited at first but slowly got less and less into the parade itself. The most exciting part was the intro and the donkey-boys with the Pinocchio segment and their crazy choreography. Other than that I was just there to say I was there. I can continue to watch PtN over and over and never get bored, but I think one or two times is enough with MSEP. For the people that say MSEP is better than PtN, watch both live and tell me your thoughts after.
If you have any questions or comments leave them below and tell me what you think about the return of the Main Street Electrical Parade as well as the loss of the Paint the Night parade!
